For over 100 years, Villa Maria has played a vitally important role in the Victorian community, providing quality services and life enhancing opportunities for older people and children and adults with a disability, their families and carers.
Our vision is creating choices and building inclusive, sustainable and compassionate communities.
Villa Maria actively seeks ways for people to participate in life, to share their passions and interests, develop skills, make connections and access the services they want and need.
Each and every day our 950 staff and 300 volunteers support more than 5,000 people through 60 programs across 42 locations with openness, innovation, creativity and flexibility.
As the needs of those in the community have changed, so too have Villa Maria's services.
We are constantly evolving to provide support where needed for older people and children and adults with a disability such as early childhood intervention, specialist education, in-home support, rehabilitation, residential care, day programs, respite and carer support.
For example, on August 18, 2010, Villa Maria proudly launched Austin Street, Victoria's first purpose-specific home for young people with high level complex care needs (including Acquired Brain Injury) who would otherwise be living in aged care nursing homes.
However our capacity to deliver life-changing services such as Austin Street and meet the ever-increasing needs of the community across a wider geographic area is only as strong as the support we receive.
Choosing to leave a bequest to Villa Maria in your Will is a gift that will bring meaningful and lasting benefit to future generations - a gift that will pave the way to a brighter future.
