The NORTH Foundation is proud to be the registered charity for the Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) and to serve as the fundraising partner for Royal North Shore, Ryde and Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospitals and the Kolling Institute.

While our clinicians, healthcare workers and researchers are proud to be able to serve the community, the NORTH Foundation is honoured to be able to support their work. We raise funds to support innovation in health research and patient care, and with the generosity of our legacy donors that we refer to as our Northern Stars, we have been able to support initiatives like:

• Lung cancer, melanoma and brain tumour research;
• Purchasing specialised equipment for our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit;
• Funding for Senior Researchers and their work within the Bone & Joint Institute;
• Aged Care Research which resulted in the docu-series ‘Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds’;
• Support to improve Cancer Carer Services & Patient Wellbeing Programs; and
• Research Fellowships in the area of Neurology and Haematology.
